Where does the nutritional data come from?
Our built-in database sources nutritional data directly from the official AUSNUT 2023 dataset — the standard used by Australian food industry professionals. You can also easily add your own custom ingredients using data from your supplier specifications or lab analysis.
Is the Health Star Rating calculation official?
Our HSR engine strictly implements the official government scoring algorithm to give you a highly accurate rating. However, as per regulations, the absolute final HSR must always be officially verified using the government portal before committing to your printed packaging.
